The prepaid pass may also be used in the other swimming facilities owned by the Capital City of Prague and operated by TRADE CENTRE PRAHA a.s. The specific conditions for using prepaid admission may differ between the individual swimming facilities. The prices of all services are published in the price list, which is placed at the cash desks, displayed on the board in the entrance hall of the building and on the website www.sutka.eu. Persons requesting a discount are obliged to present at the cash desk a document entitling them to the discount. The sale of admission is linked to the entrance and exit turnstile system.

The admission fee is paid for entry to the complex, irrespective of which part of the complex is or is not in operation for visitors at the given moment.

In the event of extraordinary events caused by force majeure, i.e. events which the operator of the Aquacentre could neither foresee nor prevent (in particular fire, breakdown of technical equipment, power outage, natural disasters, structural failures of the building, decisions of public authorities, security risks or other external influences), the operator is entitled to restrict or close the operation of the Aquacentre in whole or in part, without visitors being entitled to a refund of the admission fee or any other compensation.

The cash desk has the right to refuse entry to visitors when the instantaneous capacity of the facility, which is 500 persons, has been reached, or to persons who are not permitted entry under the Visitor Rules. When capacity is reached, entry through the turnstiles is automatically closed until further places become available as some visitors leave.

The operator has the right to reserve entire water areas or parts thereof for sports activities or other similar events. The schedule of these events is published on the website www.sutka.eu. The schedule and use of the pool are updated regularly. The entire complex may be closed when events are being held.

The operator has the right to restrict or close certain parts of the complex or attractions due to necessary maintenance or for objective reasons, without entitlement to a refund of the admission fee.

The whirlpool, the counter-current and the water spouts are switched on at set intervals.

Children under 1 year of age are not permitted to enter pools in which members of the public are present at the given time, pursuant to Decree of the Ministry of Health No. 238/2011 Coll. This does not apply to swimming courses, which take place separately in the teaching pool.

ARTICLE 3

Operating Instructions for Visitors

After paying the admission fee, each visitor, or user of the water areas on the basis of a duly concluded contract, receives at the cash desk a chip wristband which entitles them to enter the swimming part of the complex.

The time of stay begins upon passing through the turnstile system, when the exact time of the visitor’s entry is recorded.

Before entering the changing room, visitors are obliged to take off their footwear at the place designated for that purpose and to use the changing cubicles, which serve only for undressing and dressing. Lockers are available to visitors for storing clothing and footwear, and visitors are obliged to lock them properly using the chip. The operator bears no responsibility for items left outside these areas. The operator is not liable for any damage caused by failure to lock the locker. In the event of loss of the chip, the contents of the locker will be handed over to the visitor only after it has been established that the items in the locker unambiguously belong to them and after payment of a fine for the lost chip in the amount of CZK 800. Instructions for operating the lockers are placed on each locker. The visitor is obliged to keep the chip with them and under their supervision throughout their entire stay in the Aquacentre. If this is not the case, the operator is not liable for any losses or items stolen from the locker.

The visitor is obliged to deposit larger sums of money, valuables, more valuable items, jewellery, documents, laptops, etc. in the safe deposit boxes located next to the cash desk, which are monitored by the CCTV system and security. These safe deposit boxes are not intended for storing clothing, footwear, etc. When using this option, the visitor locks the valuables box with the same chip as is used to lock the changing locker. If the visitor does not lock larger sums of money, valuables, more valuable items, jewellery, documents, etc. in the safe deposit boxes, the operator is not liable for any damage.

For hygiene reasons, before entering the pool, visitors are obliged to wash their entire body with soap and water in the shower area, without swimwear. Failure to comply with this rule will result in exclusion from the visit to the Aquacentre without a refund of the admission fee. When leaving the pool area, before entering the changing rooms, visitors are obliged to dry themselves so that water is not carried into the changing rooms. For this purpose, the facility has drying areas with hair dryers.

Persons using forearm crutches, etc. are obliged to wash them properly in the shower area; persons using wheelchairs are obliged to use wheel covers on the wheelchair wheels, which can be collected free of charge at the Aquacentre cash desk.

Visitors wear swimwear, which must be clean and must comply with the principles of decency. Persons in underwear, leggings, shorts or other everyday clothing other than swimwear will not be admitted to the Aquacentre proper (pool, aquapark), with the exception of swimming courses. Failure to comply with this rule will result in exclusion from the visit to the Aquacentre without a refund of the admission fee.

Small children (infants, toddlers) must wear firm swim pants with a tight-fitting elastic band around the legs. In the event that the child’s swimwear becomes soiled, the parents must have spare swim pants.

In the pool it is prohibited to use leather balls of all sizes, tennis balls, water polo balls, heavy rubber balls and hockey pucks, including other leather objects. Water polo balls are used only during sports events, and only in the reserved area and in accordance with the timetable for use of the pool for sports purposes.

When the teaching pool is open to the public, entry is permitted only to children up to 6 years of age. Adults are permitted to enter the teaching pool only as accompanying persons.

The steam cabins are shared. Entry to them is permitted only in swimwear. After using the steam cabins, the visitor is obliged to take a shower.

In their own interest, visitors move slowly throughout the complex and take care of the safety not only of themselves but also of other persons. By being considerate towards other visitors, they prevent injuries.

If a visitor causes soiling of or damage to any area of the complex, the visitor is obliged to report this to the Aquacentre’s service staff. The visitor shall pay for the damage caused, the amount of the payment being determined by the operator. The operator will restore the facility to its original condition, and the costs associated with this will be paid by the visitor on the basis of an invoice issued to them. A written report will be drawn up on the damage caused and the manner of its resolution.

In the event of an accident, injury or sickness, the service staff will ensure that first aid is provided. If necessary, they will call for medical assistance. The first-aid room is located next to the lifeguard’s room by the 50 m swimming pool. The service is provided throughout the opening hours of the swimming complex. The accident will be recorded in the accident book, which is available in the first-aid room. For more serious injuries, an accident report will be completed.

The operator bears no responsibility for any injuries and accidents that a visitor causes to themselves through their own carelessness, lack of discipline, negligence or breach of the operating rules of an attraction.

When using the attractions in the complex, the visitor is obliged to follow the operating rules placed directly at the attraction. Use of the attractions is at the visitor’s own risk.

The visitor is obliged to hand over items found in the complex to the service staff.

Visitors leave the water areas 15 minutes before the end of opening hours. Visitors must leave the complex so that their stay in the paid part of the facility ends no later than the time stated in the schedule as the end of operation.

The stay in the complex ends upon leaving the swimming complex, again through the turnstile system, which evaluates any time overrun in relation to the purchased admission. In such a case, the visitor is obliged to pay the additional charge set out in the published price list, either to a cash desk employee or at the payment machine. The payment machine is located in the access corridor to the changing rooms – the visitor holds the chip against the reader window, the display shows the amount of the additional charge, the visitor pays the required amount (payment is possible with coins, banknotes and payment card) and then receives a receipt. Once the additional charge has been paid, the chip will be activated and the visitor will be allowed to pass out through the turnstile. In the event of loss of the chip, a fee of CZK 800 is charged.

ARTICLE 4
